Here is a brief summary of the Delano Kindred 2024 Annual Membership meeting held in Maggie Valley, NC, on 14 September 2024.

• The Proposed Agenda was approved.
• The Treasurer's Report was approved.
• Minutes of the 2023 Annual Meeting were approved.
• The proposed budget was approved.
• All Committee Reports were approved.
• The Gravestone Restoration project was discussed (no current project).
• There were no nominations for the annual charity drawing at the meeting.
• A review of the 2023 European History Tour was presented by Tom Delano.
• The Delano Kindred Facebook page was discussed, and is doing well. Would like more participants.
• Tom Delano presented the status of the Alden Barn project at the Alden Historic Site.
• Annual Meeting in 2025 will be at the Alden Barn in Duxbury, MA, on Saturday September 13.
• The Eurpoean Advisory Group, part of the Research Project, was discussed.
• Terry Delano presented a brief status of the website update project.
• The slate of Directors presented by the Nominating Committee for 2024-2026 terms was approved.
• The new member on the Nominating Committee replacing outgoing chair Paula Delano will be Gene Marcinkowski.
